Our caregivers provide assistance with ADL's and make them feel special.
Jay Mann, owner of Amada Senior Care Richmond, knows too well the feelings of frustration families feel when they are not able to help and care for a senior loved one. Jay recalls, “Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work in pathology with cancer research and diagnostics. During that time, sadly, my best friend passed away from lung cancer, leaving behind a wife and two children. He was like a brother to me, and his passing affected me in a profound way.
This experience has motivated Jay to provide the highest quality of care for seniors and to provide compassionate support for their loved ones. “I remember so clearly how helpless I felt as I watched my friend suffer. I speak with people every day who feel about their parents the way I did about my best friend. I know that we can give them peace of mind to know that their parents are in good hands—that we’re doing right by them. I know this is the right thing to do.”
Jay and our team at Amada Senior Care West Richmond have earned a reputation for providing excellent senior care in Tuckahoe, Mechanicsville, Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Bon Air, Laurel Park, and surrounding communities. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our clients by providing personalized and compassionate care. Of course, our home-care aides take help with ADLs like cooking and light housekeeping, but we try to find ways to make each of these activities feel special. Once we form trusting relationships with our clients, we can truly understand not only their care needs, but also their preferences and desires. This not only brightens the lives of our clients, but also of their loved ones who see them thrive.
