How long have you been in business?
Our business is shiny and new, just organized in 2013!
What is your primary product or service?
We handcraft books and boxes. Books are unique one-of-a-kind handmade with vellum pages, original art and vintage elements incorporated into them for a truly special treasure. Boxes are also handmade, with handmade paper covers and original or vintage design elements incorporated.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a graphic designer and artist, I learned how to make artists books (aka bookarts) and was "hooked"! I love the thought and planning as I work out the size, color and theme for each piece. Using original art and unusual materials makes each fun, different and a special and unique handcrafted, practical sculpture.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
All our products are entirely hand made and use archival materials. We use Irish linen threads for bookbinding, archival construction guarantees many years of use for each special item.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, my art studio, but ask for work in local stores that carry high quality handcrafted items. If they are not carrying my products, then suggest they do so!

We serve the entire Richmond Metro area, Lynchburg, Roanoke and Christiansburg/Blacksburg. We also ship worldwide.
