How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our love of antiques and the quality and craftsmanship the artisans put into each hand-crafted piece drew us to this particular field of work. Hand-carved cameos are created by master carvers with the foresight and skill to take advantage of the unique features of each stone, shell or other medium with which they work. Like paintings by Picasso, well executed cameos are unique works of art, heirlooms to be treasured now and passed on to future generations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have one of the largest inventory of antique and vintage cameos in Virginia. We also repurpose antique and vintage cameos, stones, pressed horn buttons and other items into custom-made contemporary mounting of Sterling and 14k Gold.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One physical location and online Auctions and Sales through eBay. No intentions to expand further.
