Elegba Folklore Society celebrates African and African-American heritage, engaging audiences in numerous cultural arts programs and special events throughout the year.
The organization’s cultural center displays paintings, sculpture, photographs, dolls, original art cards, wearable art, artifacts, crafts and much more.
Residents and visitors look forward to tours, concerts, classes
and annual events such as the Down Home Family Reunion in August, the Capital City Kwanzaa Festival in December and Juneteenth, A Freedom Celebration in June.
